“Now at the age of 86, I can look back on a rich working life, which has alternated between commissions, textile design, art education, art consulting assignments, etc.
The fabric has been the basis all along, but I have “periodized” with embroidery, textile printing, collage, acrylic, and now I have discovered a new material, recycled plastic, and thus new expressions.
Some time ago, I cleared paths and clearings in our small forest, shaped it with, among other things, “plastic sculptures”, braids of forest materials.
This bodywork and free creation has completely liberated me. I don’t know where all my energy comes from, but now I am heading towards a new spring.
